Find out more about the JSNA

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) provides a comprehensive picture of the current and future health and wellbeing needs of the population and informs commissioning in order to achieve better outcomes and reduce inequalities. Responsibility to jointly produce JSNA is placed on Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and the local authority.

Essex insight holds the suite of Essex JSNA products produced to generate meaningful information for commissioners and policy makers. Together with the Countywide, District and CCG strategic reports it provides access to a number of resources such as specialist topic reports and the relevant supporting evidence and data.
