This JSNA topic report was initiated in response to a request to establish a single up-to-date view of inequalities in Essex. The main body of the report presents an overview of what we know about the protected characteristics created by the Equality Act 2010. Note: this document was amended in September 2015 with a correction to table 7 on page 22. Cheltenham was listed instead of Chelmsford.
